Corpus Christi Sevilla 2010

The Corpus has traditionally been the most important religious festival in Seville Spain, so it is of the few Spanish cities that continue to celebrate on Thursday despite the liturgical change. This year has the news that on Wednesday there will be open day in the Cathedral and steps can be visited. This activity is added to the traditional visit to the altar. On Thursday morning the procession through the streets of downtown with an impressive Sevilla Arfe custody (siglo XVI). The covers of the Corpus of the Plaza de San Francisco reproduce Star hood which this year celebrates its 450th founding anniversary. The opportunity to see the six dance continues until the following Thursday.
