Opera: Verdi's La Traviata in Seville Spain

The opera of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata will be performed at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville Spain between day 11 and June 20, 2010. Functions will be seven of this popular three-act opera premiered in Venice on March 6, 1853. Libretto by Francesco Maria Piave based on the novel "La Dame aux Camelias" by Alexandre Dumas, son, written in 1848. The version to be staged in Seville is the production of the San Francisco Opera.
